Famous Foods: Coe’s Noodles

Ive heard talk about some locally made, mind-blowing noodles called Coes Noodles for sometime now. So, I thought I would get to the bottom of the mystery and email the force behind the foodJudy Coe herself. And, Judy promptly responded with a call, because thats the way she operates: old-school style.

Can I tell you a story? were the first words she said to me, and she sounded so sweet when she asked, that I simply couldnt say no.

Judy told me that she took her noodles to the Indiana State Fairgrounds last weekend, when a 70-something-year-old woman came up to try her chicken noodle dish.

Israel To Attack Iran Soon

As the press has been alluding to recently regarding Iran’s ability to get the nuclear weapon very soon, the war storm clouds are definitely gathering in the Middle East. Tourism crucial to NZ economy

With the success of the recent Rugby World Cup, Tourism Industry Association New Zealand (TIA) is highlighting to the NZ government the importance of tourism to the countrys economy.

TIA chief executive Tim Cossar said over a six week period, New Zealanders welcomed tens of thousands of international visitors and despite people not realizing, this was not unusual for the country to host this many people during the summer period.

While not every region or operator profited immediately from the tournament, the sheer volume and impact of fans in centres like Wellington and Auckland would have left candidates in the 26 November election in no doubt of the benefits international visitors deliver to our country.
