Amr Gamal Shedid, a 25-year-old Baltimore man, tried to board a flight to Minnesota last week carrying a bag full of knives, but was caught by TSA agents surprised to find 13 different blades.

NEWTON, Mass. – The results of its health and fitness on vacation survey of more than 1,000 U.S. travelers have been announced today. Fifty-two percent of respondents always or often exercise on vacation, and 65 percent maintain that healthy eating is important to them on leisure trips. While the majority of travelers are exercising on leisure trips, this may help compensate for hefty vacation menus, as 34 percent frequently gain weight on leisure trips. Eighty-one percent confess they are more likely to overindulge on food on vacation than while at home, while 55 percent are more likely to overindulge on alcohol.

We all love Provence but I highly recommend The French Basque Country if you have never been. Air pollution in New York City accounts for barely 1 percent of America’s total greenhouse gas emissions. The transport infrastructure, large green spaces and recent green policy initiatives such as energy-efficient traffic lights have lead to an astonishing reduction in carbon emissions for such a large urban area. However, like any major world city, high traffic levels, industry and electricity consumption will inevitably create air pollution, which has several effects on the local climate.
