The time to celebrate the bountifulness of California’s food, wine and spirits is almost here and you definitely don’t want to miss out. Last year’s event was an overwhelming success and SF Chefs 2011 promises to be even better.
From August 1 – 7, 2011 you’ll have the chance to be a part of the only urban festival of its kind in the country. Mix and mingle with winemakers, chefs, bartenders and distillers as you try their latest and greatest creations. Rub elbows with culinary stars. Sip cocktails with some of San Francisco’s best mixologists. Taste wines from all over Napa, Sonoma, Livermore and elsewhere as you chat with the winemakers.
Choose the Grand Tasting Tent at Union Square that will feature over 200 of San Francisco’s finest or classes, demos and special little parties at various venues throughout the City.
In addition to all of the amazing events that are planned, the best part of this celebration is that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Golden Gate Restaurant Association’s Scholarship Foundation. It supports individuals who are interested in the restaurant and hospitality industries.
