Revealing the design and colour of its cabin crew uniform in true Scoot spirit, the new low-cost carrier and three of its staff paraded its new threads around the streets of Singapore earlier this week.
Selecting black and yellow as the makeup of uniform, Scoot Airlines said in a statement the design was created to break convention as well as stick to the fun, attention seeking and casual attitude of the airline.
Practicality is our goal a unique uniform our crew would be proud to wear, Scoot head of cabin services Ng Ju Li said.
More importantly, safe for operations and easy to maintain.
Late last year the carrier announced it would launch its services with a direct flight between Singapore and Sydney by mid-2012.
The service is expected to drive up to $150 million in the NSW economy per year.
